Ali Landry Monteverde

Ali Landry is an American actress, model, and beauty contestant who was awarded the title 'Miss America' in 1996. After seeing the film "Love Story", her mother named Ali in honor of Ali MacGraw. She has French (Cajun), Cajun heritage, and was raised in Cecilia Louisiana in which she attended to Cecilia High School. She was 17 when she became the the captain of her high school team's cheerleading squad, and later named 'Miss Louisiana Teen USA. She then won 1996 'Miss Louisiana USA' title. She stepped into limelight after winning the title 'Miss America. She first made an acting debut in 1997 with the tv series 'Clueless'. She gained a lot of attention after she was dubbed "the Doritos Girl" by being featured in the 'Doritos' commercial broadcast during the 1998 Super Bowl. In 2000 she made her feature film debut with the film Beautiful. In the ensuing years she appeared in numerous TV and film series.
