Luciana Paluzzi
Luciana Paluzzi is one of the numerous brunettes made into international stars after the death of Gina Llobrigida. After working on both coasts of the Atlantic in the 1950s in films like Three Coins in the Fountain, (1954), and Sea Fury, (1958) Luciana Paluzzi was offered a chance at American TV fame in the role as Simone Genet in the spy weekly Five Fingers in 1959. When she was in 1965, she saw the Bond producers to discuss the possibility of being considered as the lead character Domino Derval's role in Thunderball. Terence Young gave her Fiona Volpe who was one of one woman who is able to not resist Mr. Bond's attraction. Fiona who, as punishment, is fatally wounded in the club by Bond's companions. James, who then places her body on a nearby dining table is asked "Does it bother you if I lie down this scene?" "She's deceased." The blockbuster at the box office enabled Luciana Paluzzi to extend her European star career to her 70s, in both the US and Europe and with movies like Captain Nemo And The Underwater City (1969), The Six Million Dollar Man (1973), The Klansman (1974) as well as The Greek Tycoon
